I am a dual licensed psychotherapist in the states of Virginia and New York. I specialize in interventions based on cultural awareness and individual client presentation in sessions. I utilize evidence-based interventions in therapy sessions including CBT, trauma-based CBT, DBT, Solution focused, Positive Psychology, Narrative therapy, and Reality Therapy. My clinical background consists of working in inpatient and outpatient mental hospitals, school settings, and private practice. Within this umbrella, I have provided therapeutic services to clients dealing with personality and mood disorders, LGBT+ affirmative psychotherapy, trauma and other clinical areas listed below. I identify as an Afro-Carribean-American, cis gender female (she/her), and member of the LGBT+ community. My aim is to establish a trusting and comfortable clinical relationship with my clients.
